Job summary

ALESAI HOLDING is seeking a Fleet Operations Supervisor in Jeddah to manage regional workforce transport, dispatch routes, and driver teams. You will coordinate shifts, monitor fleet performance, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include optimizing routes, overseeing vehicle readiness, and generating detailed fleet reports to support project mobilization and cost control. Fluency in Arabic and English is required, with a valid driving license.

Job description

Runs the regional workforce-transport operation for the assigned shift – bus and vehicle routes between accommodation and client sites, dispatch, drivers, vehicle readiness and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and dispatch daily workforce transport routes for the assigned shift; consolidate trips and support project mobilization and demobilization.
• Monitor vehicle and driver utilization through tracking systems; report idle vehicles, off-route trips and kilometers per vehicle, and propose route and fleet optimizations.
• Track preventive maintenance, inspections, registration and insurance validity for all vehicles; coordinate with the maintenance team to keep vehicle availability on target.
• Enforce driver operating procedures and safety measures (licenses, rest hours, speed, vehicle checks);investigate incidents and maintain the incident log.
• Allocate drivers for the shift, manage attendance and leave cover, and ensure a clear hand-over between day and night shifts.
• Produce shift and monthly fleet reports: trips, kilometers, fuel, utilization, availability, incidents and cost per kilometer.

Competencies and requirements

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in logistics, transport, supply chain or a related field.
• 3+ years in fleet, transport or dispatch operations, ideally in workforce or passenger transport; shift-work experience is an advantage.
• Hands-on experience with GPS/telematics and route-planning tools; strong Excel and reporting skills.
• Knowledge of vehicle maintenance cycles, roadworthiness and inspection requirements and road-safety regulations.
• Able to supervise and schedule large driver teams, resolve same-day operational issues and keep calm under time pressure.
• Analytical mindset: reads utilization and cost data and turns it into route and fleet improvements.
• Arabic and English required; valid driving license required; willingness to work day or night shifts.
