Job summary

Dar Al Riyadh Group is seeking an experienced Architectural Site Supervisor to oversee the renovation of a prestigious high-rise five-star hotel in Medina. You will inspect architectural and interior fit-out works, ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications, submittals and hotel brand standards.

Responsibilities include daily site inspections, coordinating with senior architects and contractors, and producing punch lists, reports and handover documentation.

Qualifications

• Must have degree in Architecture or related field and registration with Saudi Council of Engineers in the applicable Technician or Engineering category.
• Minimum 12 years of architectural site supervision and inspection experience.
• Proven experience in five‑star hotels, luxury hospitality fit-outs, or high‑rise interior renovation projects.
• Strong knowledge of architectural finishes, drywall, ceilings, stone, marble, glazing, flooring, painting, joinery, and door systems.
• Excellent attention to finishing details including pattern matching, joint alignment, paint sheen and surface quality.
• Familiarity with acoustic detailing, fire-rated assemblies, waterproofing interfaces, and luxury hotel quality standards.
• Ability to interpret architectural and interior drawings, specifications, material schedules, method statements, and approved mockups.
• Previous experience with an engineering consultancy or construction supervision consultant.
• Experience in Madinah Central Area or similarly congested and sensitive locations is preferred.
• Good written and spoken English is required; Arabic is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily inspections of architectural and interior fit-out works for renovation of a high-rise, five-star hotel.
• Ensure works comply with approved drawings, specifications, submittals, mockups, and hotel brand standards.
• Inspect finishes across drywall, plaster, ceilings, flooring, painting, stone, glazing, and joinery.
• Verify marble layouts, pattern matching, joint alignment, colour consistency, and installation quality.
• Coordinate inspections with senior architects/designers and contractor representatives.
• Prepare punch lists and monitor rectification and closure of defects.
• Maintain daily inspection reports, photographs, test records and site observations.
• Assist with snagging, de-snagging, final inspections, and handover activities.
