Job summary

Science Applications International Corp. (SAIC) seeks a Field Service Engineer to support the Medusa Sustainment program. The role covers installation, optimization, and integration of fielded C-sUAS hardware/software across Kuwait, UAE, Jordan, Qatar or Saudi locations.

You will diagnose issues, implement upgrades, train technicians, and report on product performance at customer sites. The candidate will need a strong technical background with problem-solving skills, and the ability to work

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 2+ years experience; 6+ years experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
• Active Secret clearance is required to operate at customer sites
• Security+ (Plus) certification is preferred or required depending on program

Responsibilities

• Provide field engineering and technical support for C-sUAS systems at identified locations
• Serve as primary engineering representative at customer sites
• Implement and optimize hardware and software products and multi-vendor systems
• Oversee integration of existing hardware, software, and network configurations
• Manage installation of software maintenance releases or hardware upgrades
• Diagnose and resolve product performance issues during installation
• Provide customer feedback on product performance problems
• Prepare reports and presentations related to products and services
• Plan and conduct on-the-job training for field service technicians
• Oversee and assist lower-level service technicians
• Operate and troubleshoot program of record software and integrated radios and hardware components
• Troubleshoot to LRU level before escalating maintenance
• Prepare systems for operation and conduct final system checks
• Coordinate packaging and Return Material Authorization processes
• Provide on-site and telephonic technical support for Airmen
• Conduct trainings as needed
• Support program service desk as required
• Conduct scheduled equipment inventories
