Job summary

Canon Middle East FZ LLC seeks a Service Engineer to provide cost-effective maintenance and optimize the technical performance of Canon hardware. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, reporting, stock optimization, and driving opportunities with the OnSite-InSight tool.

Ideal candidates hold an engineering degree, GCC driving license, and strong customer-facing skills. Role involves adherence to health and safety guidelines, teamwork, and continuous improvement within a regional service team

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or diploma in electronics, mechanics, and software.
• Relevant experience in the service industry.
• Experience in understanding and following health and safety guidelines.
• Demonstrates a high technical aptitude with excellent fault-finding skills.
• Good customer handling and communication skills. Able to give customer instruction.
• Team player that focuses on optimizing the team output.
• Good commercial insight and business acumen.
• Awareness to represent Canon as a company always (behavior, communication, and presentation / appearance).
• Current GCC driving license.

Responsibilities

• Provide first line troubleshooting on standalone and connected products.
• Achieve a high first-time fix rate and minimum recalls with cost-effective labor time and parts.
• Report labor and parts investment using CAESAR coding structure.
• Optimize stock inventory, rotation, and balance against RTf visits.
• Signal commercial opportunities to Sales and Marketing using OnSite-InSight.
• Contribute to ongoing development of the team and overall service performance.
• Understand customer requirements to support the Solution Business Strategy.
• Liaise and report back to relevant account manager on customer issues.
• Identify super-users and provide training on Canon products installed and software as appropriate.
