Job summary

The Ideal candidate has at least five years in a similar role, a track record in menu development and cost control, strong cross-cultural cooking knowledge, and excellent English communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years as an Executive Chef in an international cuisine setting.
• Proven menu development, food cost control and team management.
• Strong knowledge of diverse cooking methods and cultural techniques.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high food quality.
• Excellent communication in English; Arabic is a plus.
• Culinary degree or equivalent certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-quality menus featuring international cuisine
• Oversee food preparation and presentation to ensure consistency and quality
• Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
• Train, supervise, and schedule kitchen staff
• Maintain kitchen sanitation standards as per local health codes
• Create new recipes and dishes while adhering to dietary restrictions or special requests
• Collaborate with restaurant management to plan events or special menus
• Manage budgeting and cost control for the kitchen department
