Job summary

Client of Capitex is seeking a senior Basel credit risk RWA specialist to lead a PMO-driven remediation programme in Riyadh. The role combines deep Basel expertise with practical programme management to drive fixes across the bank's RWA calculation end-to-end, aligning multiple departments toward a unified plan of action.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Basel credit risk RWA experience in banking or related regulatory programmes.
• Hands-on knowledge of exposure classification, CRM, ECAI ratings, CCF application, asset classification.

Responsibilities

• Lead PMO for Basel credit risk RWA remediation with governance, RAID logs, and senior stakeholder reporting.
• Drive technical fixes across RWA workstreams including exposure classification, CRM, ECAI mapping, CCF, and regulatory reconciliation (Q17/SAMA).
• Coordinate stakeholders across Business, IT, Risk, Finance, Data teams to align RWA calculation processes.
