Job summary

SAB in Riyadh seeks a Basel III Regulatory Reporting expert to lead end-to-end SAS reporting for Phase 1–3. The role focuses on regulatory risk management, data analysis, and collaboration with IT and business teams to ensure Basel III compliance across reporting platforms.

You will act as a Basel SME, update senior stakeholders, and drive UAT and project plans for the SAS system implementation related to Regulatory Risk Management and ALM.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related field.
• Experience in Basel III regulatory reporting and financial risk management.
• Hands-on experience with SAS for regulatory risk management, ALM, and data analysis.
• Strong knowledge of Basel III requirements, SAS reporting, Teradata, and regulatory data processes.

Responsibilities

• Implement Basel 3 reforms in SAS reporting for Phases 1–3 end-to-end.
• Provide Basel SME support to project team.
• Update senior stakeholders on progress regularly.
• Act as the focal point for escalation with SAS management.
• Ensure SAS reports comply with Basel 3 reforms.
• Lead end-to-end implementation of the new SAS system for Regulatory Risk Management and ALM.
• Coordinate project activities, tracking and reporting to meet deadlines.
• Evaluate business processes, identify improvements, and develop SAS solutions.
• Lead reviews of gaps and conduct meetings to share ideas and findings.
• Perform requirements analysis and document findings.
• Collaborate with vendor IT, project manager and management staff.
• Perform UAT, manage projects, develop plans, and monitor performance.
• Update, implement and maintain procedures.
• Determine operational objectives by studying business functions; gather information; evaluate formats.
• Construct workflow charts; study system capabilities; write specifications.
• Prepare test plans to ensure complete system functionality and completeDIMs.

Department: Finance- Performance and Capital Management

Location: Riyadh

Core Responsibilities:

• Ensuring end to end implementation of new Basel 3 reform rules in SAS reporting for Phase 1-3
• Providing Basel SME support to project team
• Updating senior stakeholders including BSC on the progress on a frequent basis
• Act as the focal point in problem solving and be the main focal point for escalation with SAS management
• Ensuring reports generated in SAS comply with Basel 3 reforms
• End to end involvement in process of implementing new SAS system for SAS Regulatory Risk Management and SAS Asset and Liability Management
• Project lifecycle activities from concept, implementation by facilitating tracking, coordinating and reporting project activities to meet business deadlines and complying with IT governance policies and processes
• Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing SAS solutions
• Leading ongoing reviews of business processes gaps and conducting meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings
• Performing requirements analysis and documenting all business findings
• Working closely with vendor IT, project manager and managerial staff
• Performing user acceptance testing and managing projects, developing project plans, and monitoring performance
• Updating, implementing and maintaining procedures
• Determine operational objectives by studying business functions; gathering information; evaluating output requirements and formats
• Construct workflow charts and diagrams; studying system capabilities; writing specifications
• Prepare test plans to ensure complete system functionality is tested and ensure process notes and DIMs are completed

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Experience in Basel III regulatory reporting and financial risk management.
• Hands‑on experience with SAS for regulatory risk management, ALM, and data analysis.
• Strong knowledge of Basel III requirements, SAS reporting, Teradata, and regulatory data processes.
