Job summary

EnerVenue in Silicon Valley seeks an Energy Storage Applications Engineer for the Middle East. This strategic, hands-on role bridges advanced storage tech with real deployments across utilities, EPCs, and developers in the Kingdom and GCC.

Translate customer requirements into optimized system designs and support sales with technical validation. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in BESS, strong DC/AC design knowledge, fluency in Arabic and English, and is based in Saudi Arabia with 10–20% travel.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive experience in Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), including system design, applications engineering, integration, and service.
• Demonstrated expertise designing multi‑MW scale energy storage systems, with strong command of both DC and AC electrical design principles.
• Professional fluency in Arabic and English, written and spoken.
• Based in Saudi Arabia and able to travel 10-20% to support customer engagement.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical pre-sales by translating customer use cases into optimized storage solutions.
• Develop energy storage models that quantify lifetime performance, degradation, efficiency, availability, and ROI.
• Produce technical proposals with system sizing, diagrams, performance assumptions, and documentation.
• Support RFPs, RFIs, and due diligence with speed, accuracy, and credibility.
• Create tools, calculators, and modeling frameworks to improve proposal consistency.
• Review system designs, single lines, layouts, and compliance.
• Collaborate with marketing to develop technical content and messaging.
• Bridge engineering and revenue to influence product roadmap and proposals.
• Support commissioning readiness and field deployment for performance validation.
