Job summary

Ninety One is seeking an Analyst to join its Emerging Market Corporate Debt team in Saudi Arabia. You will conduct bottom-up credit research on financial institutions and corporates across the region, generating differentiated investment ideas and communicating actionable recommendations to portfolio managers.

The role involves contributing to top-down analysis, monitoring issuer performance, and supporting the development of proprietary research tools.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in fixed income, credit research, or investment analysis.
• Strong understanding of financial institutions and corporate credit fundamentals.
• Familiarity with emerging markets and knowledge of Saudi Arabia and the GCC region.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting; CFA qualification is advantageous.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills with strong attention to detail.
• Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct independent, bottom-up credit research on financial institutions and corporates across Saudi Arabia and other emerging markets.
• Generate differentiated investment ideas with the objective of outperforming benchmarks.
• Formulate and communicate clear investment recommendations to portfolio managers.
• Contribute to top-down analysis to support country, sector, and risk positioning.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of issuers and adjust recommendations as needed.
• Analyse financial statements, credit metrics, and qualitative factors to assess issuer fundamentals and sustainability.
• Incorporate macroeconomic and market insights into investment analysis.
• Assist in the development and enhancement of proprietary research tools and databases.
• Prepare written research, internal and client reporting, and support investment presentations.
• Participate in investment meetings and contribute to ongoing improvement across research processes.
