Job summary

Jazera Arabia Contracting in Riyadh seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer for the Technical Office to design, review, and document lighting, LV power, and ELV systems within a BIM environment.

You will prepare design and shop drawings, issue accurate BOQs, and coordinate with other disciplines to resolve clashes. Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Dialux Evo, and power analysis software is required, with familiarity of SBC and international codes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in electrical design (technical office / consultancy).
• Strong proficiency in Revit (BIM), AutoCAD, Dialux Evo, and power analysis software.
• Proven ability to prepare design, shop, and as-built drawings plus accurate quantity take-offs.
• Solid knowledge of the Saudi market (materials & suppliers), Saudi Building Code, and international codes.
• Excellent coordination and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review electrical designs for lighting, low-voltage power, and complete ELV systems (including fire alarm, BMS, CCTV, access control, structured cabling, and related systems).
• Produce design drawings, shop drawings, as-built drawings, and accurate BOQs.
• Coordinate with other disciplines to resolve clashes and ensure integrated designs.
• Work in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks (BIM) and use AutoCAD, Dialux Evo, Ecodial and ETAP.
• Review designs for compliance with Saudi Building Code (SBC) and international standards (IEC, BS, NEC, NFPA, etc.).
• Apply knowledge of materials and suppliers in the Saudi market.
• Support technical specifications, material submittals, and value engineering.
