Client is looking for Electrical Engineer

Requirements/Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
- 15+ years of experience in electrical engineering within ethylene/petrochemical plants
- Prior Saudi Arabia project experience is a MUST
- Proven expertise in brownfield projects, furnace electrical systems, and equipment modifications
- Strong knowledge of power distribution systems, MCCs, switchgear, transformers, and cable sizing
- Familiarity with hazardous area classifications, IEC/IEEE/NFPA standards, and Saudi Aramco standards
- Experience with electrical load calculations, short circuit analysis, and protective relay coordination
- Hands‑on experience in turnaround (TA) planning and execution
- Excellent coordination skills with instrumentation, mechanical, and process teams
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute electrical scope for brownfield projects within operating petrochemical plants
- Oversee electrical works for furnace installations, including power supply, grounding, and heat tracing systems
- Manage equipment upgrades, including:
- CGC (Cracked Gas Compressor): motor upgrades, VFD integration
- Pump motors: replacement, alignment, and protection systems
- Column heating systems: electrical tracing and control
- Prepare and review electrical deliverables: single‑line diagrams, cable schedules, load lists, wiring diagrams, and installation details
- Conduct site surveys, as‑built updates, and constructability reviews for brownfield works
- Implement electrical safety systems and ensure compliance with Saudi regulations, company standards, and HSE protocols
- Support turnaround activities: isolation plans, pre‑shutdown checks, testing, commissioning, and energization
- Coordinate with vendors for FAT/SAT, technical queries, and field assistance
- Provide on‑site troubleshooting for electrical systems and ensure reliability during start‑up
