Job summary

TRS Staffing Solutions is seeking a Senior Power System Analysis Engineer based in Saudi Arabia, Eastern Province. The role involves supporting procurement, interpreting project standards, and establishing electrical engineering deliverables in petrochemical projects. Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and have 15 years of relevant experience, including 10 years with an international FEED/EPC contractor. Deep knowledge of international codes and project management skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 15 years of experience in petrochemical, fertilizer, refining, oil or gas industries.
• 10 years with recognized international FEED/EPC contractor.
• Experience with complete project cycle including construction and commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Support Procurement in meeting clients/vendors.
• Interpret project standards and provide technical support.
• Develop and update electrical standards.
• Prepare specifications, data sheets, and equipment layouts.

Electrical design related to PDP & FEED

ETAP modeling

PSCAD

Knowledge of international codes (IEC, NEC, NFPA, PIP)

Project management skills

Senior Power System Analysis Engineer

Project Type: Oil & gas, petrochemical, chemicals plants

Location: Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia

Requirements / Qualifications

• KSA‑based candidates highly considered
• Bachelor electrical Engineering
• 15 years’ experience in petrochemical, fertilizer, refining, oil or gas industrial environments. Ideally, 10 years should be with a recognized international FEED/EPC contractor, performing electrical engineering to build green and brown field facilities in the petrochemical, or related chemical and Fertilizer industry.
• Experience in the following
• Complete project cycle (basic engineering and detailed engineering including construction, pre-commissioning and commissioning support) of green/ brown field projects is ideal.
• 1. Resolving operational / design issues
  2. Electrical design specifically related to PDP & FEED
  3. Pre-tender stage design
  4. Scheduling, man-hour control, productivity and status reporting
  5. ETAP modeling and PSCAD

Responsibilities

• Supporting Procurement in meeting clients/vendors
• To be competent in the following areas:
• Deep knowledge of relevant international codes i.e. IEC, NEC, NFPA, PIP, standards and Industrial practices and regulations
• Capability to interpret Project standards, specifications, analyze exceptions when put up by vendors/contractors and to provide technical and engineering support to electrical issues.
• Possess knowledge to review/update and develop company's electrical standards.
• Comprehensive and in‑depth knowledge is essential for handling of all the activities related to development / review of electrical engineering deliverables during basic and detailed engineering phases of major projects.
• Experience in preparation of specifications. data sheets, SLD, equipment layout, cable layout, grounding layouts etc.
