Responsibilities
- Assist senior personnel in carrying out commissioning activities.
- Develop knowledge of how different building systems interact.
- Conduct site inspections in selected discipline.
- Assess test procedures and results for compliance with specs and codes.
- Review project documentation for compliance with specs and codes.
- Report issues clearly to senior team members.
- Liaise with contractors commissioning team professionally.
- Monitor installation quality and use of engineering tools on site.
- Keep daily diary of events and activities.

- As part of a multi-discipline project team representing AESG, conduct site inspections and verify the tested results are correct.
- Develop knowledge about commissioning processes and test procedures in engineering discipline and demonstrate an ability and willingness to learn.
- MEP / Building Services Engineering Degree
- BSc Electrical Engineering
- BSc Building Services Engineering
- MEP / Building Services Engineering College Diploma
- HNC, HND or equivalent
- MEP / Building Services Engineering College Certificate
- ONC, OND or equivalent
- MEP Trade Time Served + City & Guilds Certificate
- Minimum 2 years of job-related experience + Engineering Degree
- Minimum 3 years of job-related experience + College Diploma
- Minimum 4 years of job-related experience + College or Trade Certificate
- Industry Accreditations
- Incorporated Engineer, desirable but not essential
- CSA Grade 3 qualified, desirable but not essential
- Commissioning certification such as BCA, ACG or NEBB, desirable but not essential
- Moderate experience and proficiency in multiple competencies.
- Capable of handling tasks with supervision.
- Assist senior personnel in carrying out commissioning activities

- Conduct site inspections in selected discipline
- Assess whether test procedures and recorded results demonstrate compliance with project specifications and industry codes of practice
- Assist with reviewing project documentation for compliance with project specifications and industry codes of practice
- Report issues found to senior team members in a clear, accurate and concise manner
- Liaise with contractors commissioning team in professional manner
- Carry out site observations with respect to quality of installation
- Monitor installation, submittals and use of engineering tools adhering to project and commissioning guidelines
- Assisting with tracking completion of tasks and preparing lookahead documentsKeep daily diary of events and activities under your control, including systems inspected, documents reviewed, and any decision made by authorities on site
