Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a Field Specialist to support Logging while Drilling at the well site in the Eastern Province. The role involves addressing moderately complex problems, collaborating with teams, and delivering Logging while Drilling services on site.

You will report on portfolio activities, develop proficiency in wellbore placement, hydraulics, and BHA handling, and participate in advanced technical training. A bachelor’s degree and 1 year of DD or MWD experience are required.

Qualifications

• Must possess a bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Minimum of 1 year of field experience in Directional Drilling (DD) or MWD.
• Fluent in English with strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.

Responsibilities

• Reporting for Drilling Services portfolio activities.
• Demonstrating knowledge of Wellbore Placement.
• Demonstrating knowledge of Collision Avoidance practices and relation with DD & MWD activities.
• Completing advanced technical training and assigned well site development programs.
• Developing proficiency for the delivery of Directional Drilling services at the well site.
• Demonstrating knowledge of hydraulics and torque & drag simulations.
• Supervising good practices for BHA handling and making up.
• Demonstrating knowledge of activities/technologies related to well construction like hydraulic expandable reamers, circulation sub.
• Communicating and facilitating continuous improvement.
