Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a Field Specialist to support Drilling Services at project sites in the region. You will resolve moderately complex issues at the well site, analyze data, and coordinate with teams to deliver Logging while Drilling and Directional Drilling services.

You will join a collaborative team, with a focus on continuous improvement, safety, and operating with cutting-edge drilling technology. English fluency and strong teamwork are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or diploma is required.
• Minimum of 3 years of field experience in drilling services (MWD, Directional Drilling, LWD) preferred.
• Fluency in English and strong communication skills are essential.
• Able to work well in a team and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Report for Drilling Services portfolio activities.
• Demonstrate knowledge of wellbore placement and collision avoidance with MWD activities.
• Develop proficiency for Logging while Drilling services delivery at the well site.
• Complete advanced technical training and site development programs.
• Develop proficiency for Directional Drilling services delivery at the well site.
• Demonstrate knowledge of hydraulics and torque & drag simulations.
• Supervise good practices for BHA handling and making up.
• Understand activities/technologies related to well construction like hydraulic expandable reamers.

As Field Specialist you will be provide resolution to problems of moderately complex scope at the well site where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors.

As a Field Specialist you will develop and demonstrate proficiency in the skill profile required for the delivery of Logging while Drilling services at the well site.

As a Field Specialist, you will be responsible for:

• Reporting for Drilling Services portfolio activities
• Demonstrating Knowledge over Wellbore Placement
• Demonstrating Knowledge over Collision Avoidance Practices and relation with MWD Activities
• Developing proficiency for the delivery of Logging while Drilling services at the well site.
• Completing advanced technical training and assigned well site development Programs.
• Developing proficiency required for the delivery of Directional Drilling services at the well site
• Demonstrating knowledge over Hydraulics and Torque & Drag Simulations
• Supervising good practices for BHA Handling and making up
• Demonstrating knowledge of activities/technologies related to well construction like Hydraulic Expandable Reamers, Circulation Sub
• Communicating and facilitating continuous improvement

• Have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or diploma.
• Have a minimum of 3 years of experience in the field and previous experience in drilling services (Measuring while Drilling/Directional Drilling/ Logging while drilling) is preferred.
