Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a Field Specialist to support Logging While Drilling and directional drilling activities at client sites across the region. You will work at the wellsite to resolve moderately complex issues and support continuous improvement in drilling operations.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree, 1+ year of DD/MWD field experience, and strong English communication. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 1 year of field experience in Directional Drilling or MWD.
• Proficient in English with good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Report on Drilling Services portfolio activities at the well site.
• Demonstrate knowledge of wellbore placement and collision avoidance with DD & MWD activities.
• Complete advanced technical training and participate in wellsite development programs.
• Develop proficiency for delivering Directional Drilling services at the well site.
• Demonstrate knowledge of hydraulics and torque & drag simulations.
• Supervise good practices for BHA handling and make-up.

As Field Specialist you will be provide resolution to problems of moderately complex scope at the well site where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors.

As a Field Specialist you will develop and demonstrate proficiency in the skill profile required for the delivery of Logging while Drilling services at the well site.

As a Field Specialist, you will be responsible for:

• Reporting for Drilling Services portfolio activities
• Demonstrating Knowledge over Wellbore Placement
• Demonstrating Knowledge over Collision Avoidance Practices and relation with DD & MWD Activities
• Completing advanced technical training and assigned well site development Programs.
• Developing proficiency required for the delivery of Directional Drilling services at the well site
• Demonstrating knowledge over Hydraulics and Torque & Drag Simulations
• Supervising good practices for BHA Handling and making up
• Demonstrating knowledge of activities/technologies related to well construction like Hydraulic Expandable Reamers, Circulation Sub
• Communicating and facilitating continuous improvement

• Have a bachelor's degree
• Have a minimum of 1 years of experience in the field as Directional Drilling "DD" or MWD
• Be a good communicator and be fluent in English.
• Be a good team player and display good communication skills.
