Job summary

Penspen is seeking a Document Controller to be based in Khafji. The role focuses on supervising the document control process, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and timely distribution of project documentation in line with company standards and industry regulations.

Ideal candidates will have a degree or diploma with project administration certification and significant experience in document control for complex projects, with familiarity of MS Office tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma with project administration certification.
• Experience in document control for project deliverables.
• Knowledge of Saudi Aramco Desktop Standards (beneficial)

Responsibilities

• Oversee the document control process ensuring accuracy and integrity of project documentation.
• Coordinate timely distribution of documents in compliance with company standards and regulations.
• Maintain filing systems and document flow procedures across project lifecycle.
• Support in construction and commissioning phases as needed.

The Document Controller will be responsible for overseeing the document control process, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and timely distribution of project documentation in compliance with company standards and industry regulations.

Qualifications

• Alternative (I): Bachelor’s degree in administration or Equivalent closely related field.
• Alternative (II): Diploma or Equivalent with a Certificate from a recognized agency in Project Administration

Knowledge / Experience (Skills)

• Alternative (I): Six (6) years
• Alternative (II): Ten (10) years
• Experience in organizing and controlling typical project deliverables such as drawings, specifications, operating manuals, vendor submittals, filing systems, and document flow procedures.
• PMC experience at similar role for at least several years is preferable.
• Knowledge of Saudi Aramco Desktop Standard and procedures/practices is beneficial.
• Previous exposure to construction and commissioning phases is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Computer literate with all MS Packages, particularly Word and Excel proficient.
