Job summary

SELECTED RECRUITMENT in partnership with a large Saudi organisation seeks a Director, Total Rewards in Jeddah. This senior role reports to the CHRO and shapes our global reward architecture across compensation, benefits, executive pay and incentive programmes.

You will own the group Total Rewards strategy, governance, compensation design, market benchmarking and pay-for-performance analytics, and you will lead executive compensation discussions with board stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience across executive compensation, compensation frameworks, incentive design, market benchmarking and reward governance.
• Ability to operate confidently with senior executives.
• Prior experience in complex, multi-business or multinational organisations.
• Saudi Arabia or GCC experience advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the Group Total Rewards strategy, governance and framework across the organisation.
• Lead compensation architecture, job grading, salary structures and market positioning.
• Direct executive compensation and reward recommendations.
• Design and oversee Short-Term and Long-Term Incentive programmes (STI/LTI).
• Own annual salary, promotion and incentive review cycles.
• Shape benefits strategy and optimisation.
• Lead reward analytics, internal equity and pay-for-performance initiatives.
• Prepare senior-level reward governance recommendations for executives and Board-level stakeholders.

Director, Total Rewards | Jeddah, Saudi Arabia

I’m partnering with a large, established Saudi organisation to appoint a Director, Total Rewards, reporting directly to the CHRO.

This is a Group-level leadership position responsible for shaping the organisation’s overall reward strategy and architecture across compensation, benefits, executive rewards and incentive programmes.

The position will take ownership of:

• Group Total Rewards strategy, philosophy and governance
• Compensation architecture, job grading, salary structures and market positioning
• Executive compensation and reward recommendations
• Short-Term and Long-Term Incentive programmes (STI/LTI)
• Annual salary, promotion and incentive review cycles
• Benefits strategy and optimisation
• Reward analytics, internal equity and pay-for-performance
• Senior-level reward governance and preparation of recommendations for executive and Board-level stakeholders

We are looking for an experienced Total Rewards leader with a strong background in complex, multi-business or multinational organisations.

You should bring significant experience across executive compensation, compensation frameworks, incentive design, market benchmarking and reward governance, together with the ability to operate confidently with senior executives.

Previous experience in Saudi Arabia or the wider GCC would be highly advantageous.
