Job summary

Burq, Inc. in Jeddah invites applications for a Document Scanner role. You will operate high‑speed scanners to digitize large volumes of paper records accurately and efficiently.

You will perform quality checks, prepare documents (removing staples and organizing), and index files with metadata to enable fast retrieval in our DMS environment. Experience in data entry is preferred, and familiarity with DMS and scanning software is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education is advantageous.
• Previous experience in a document scanning or data entry role is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with document management systems (DMS) and scanning software.

Responsibilities

• Operate high-speed scanners to digitize large volumes of documents accurately and efficiently.
• Perform quality control checks on scanned images to ensure legibility, completeness and adherence to standards.
• Prepare documents for scanning by removing staples and organizing them for optimal workflow.
• Index and tag scanned documents with relevant metadata for easy retrieval and database management.
