Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in architecture, interior design, urban design, or related field.
• 8–10 years of progressive design management experience in large-scale developments.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary design teams and managing complex projects.
• Strong knowledge of design principles, construction methodologies, and codes.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong project management skills and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of architects and designers with direction and mentorship.
• Oversee development of design concepts, plans, and specs aligned with objectives.
• Collaborate with departments, consultants, and external stakeholders to define project requirements and deliver integrated design solutions.
• Manage full design lifecycle from concept to completion, within scope, budget, schedule, and quality.
• Review and approve design proposals, drawings, and documentation to ensure compliance with goals and best practices.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and suppliers to support efficient project execution.
• Stay informed about emerging design trends, technologies, and industry innovations, incorporating best practices where appropriate.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, design codes, and company standards.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, creativity, continuous improvement, and professional development within the design team.

Education
