Job summary

Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking an experienced Design Manager to lead the design and development of innovative projects in Riyadh, ensuring quality, functionality, and aesthetics from concept to completion.

The role requires 8–10 years of progressive design-management experience, leadership of multidisciplinary teams, and strong proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite. You will collaborate with stakeholders and manage design across large-scale developments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, interior design, urban design, or related field.
• 8–10 years of progressive design management experience, preferably in large-scale developments.
• Demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary design teams and managing complex projects.
• Strong understanding of design principles, construction methodologies, and applicable codes.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong project management capabilities and ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Leadership, decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of sustainable design principles and environmental best practices is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of architects and designers, providing direction, mentorship, and technical guidance.
• Oversee development of design concepts, plans, and specifications aligned with project objectives.
• Collaborate with internal departments, consultants, and external stakeholders to define project requirements and deliver integrated design solutions.
• Manage full design lifecycle from concept through completion, ensuring scope, budget, schedule, and quality adherence.
• Review and approve design proposals, drawings, and technical documentation to meet goals and best practices.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and suppliers to support efficient project execution.
• Stay informed about emerging design trends, technologies, and industry innovations; apply best practices.
