Job summary

Daikin Middle East & Africa is seeking a Project Manager – Datacentres in Riyadh to lead end-to-end HVAC data centre projects, from design through commissioning and handover. You will ensure technical compliance, on-time delivery, and client satisfaction while coordinating with internal teams, consultants, and contractors.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, 8+ years of HVAC project management experience, and strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
• Minimum of 8 years' experience in HVAC project management, including data centre or mission-critical facility projects.
• PMP certification is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of chilled water systems, precision cooling, CRAH/CRAC units, heat rejection systems, and commissioning processes.
• Experience with consultants, contractors, and developers on large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Strong planning, scheduling, and risk management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design development phase and ensure Daikin solutions meet project specifications and client requirements.
• Coordinate with Product Management and Engineering teams on equipment selections, submittals, and design compliance.
• Follow up with consultants and stakeholders to secure approvals and ensure Daikin products are specified.
• Identify technical risks and propose value engineering opportunities while maintaining performance requirements.
• Manage project execution from order confirmation through commissioning and handover.
• Coordinate with main contractors, MEP contractors, project developers, and consultants for smooth implementation.
• Monitor schedules, milestones, and deliverables to achieve on-time completion.
• Ensure delivery, installation, testing, commissioning activities align with project requirements.
• Conduct regular project meetings and provide progress reports to management.
