Job summary

Fortinet is hiring a Technical Support Engineer in Riyadh to provide advanced technical assistance and drive customer success for our security solutions. You will analyze complex network issues, reproduce lab scenarios, and collaborate with engineering to resolve product defects while developing expertise across Fortinet’s product line.

The role emphasizes strong communication with customers, hands-on troubleshooting, and the ability to work in a fast-paced cybersecurity environment.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in computer networking or security.
• Strong knowledge of firewall and network security concepts.
• Proficiency in TCP/IP, routing, switching, and OSI layers.
• Experience with IPsec, SSL, SD-WAN, WAF, and dynamic routing protocols.
• Working knowledge of Linux OS, virtualization, and cloud computing.
• Good communication and customer-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support via phone and web-based systems for SAARC, ME, and EMEA regions.
• Analyze reported problems and deliver turnkey solutions through debugging and traffic analysis.
• Coordinate with engineering to address and resolve product issues.
• Own and manage technical cases and suggest corrective actions.
• Conduct real-time sessions with customers and expand knowledge of Fortinet products.
