Talent Diamond represents a leading FMCG company in Saudi Arabia seeking an experienced Assistant Manager, Customs Clearance for a 6-month temporary assignment in Jeddah. The role oversees end-to-end customs clearance, shipment coordination, documentation, broker performance, and regulatory follow-ups to ensure compliant import/export activities.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.
2+ years of experience in customs clearance, logistics, or supply chain operations.
Knowledge of import/export procedures and customs documentation.
Experience working with clearing agents, warehouses, and regulatory authorities.
Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
Very good Microsoft Excel skills.
SAP experience is preferred.
Ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end import/export customs clearance processes and documentation.
Coordinate with clearing agents and ensure documents are shared in advance.
Track shipment status, warehouse receipt, and clearance progress.
Monitor shipment readiness and clearance status via FASAH.
Coordinate with SFDA, brokers, Quality, and Warehouse teams for releases or inspections.
Support sample collection, lab testing, and related payments.
