Job summary

Sener is seeking a Manager – Configuration & Change Management in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to lead governance of CM processes across landmark Rail & Metro projects. You will establish plans, supervise changes, and ensure traceability and compliance with client requirements and international standards.

Ideal candidates bring a Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field, 15+ years of experience, and strong leadership with excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related discipline.
• 15 years of overall professional experience.
• 10 years of Rail & Metro experience.
• Proven experience leading Configuration and Change Management for complex Rail & Metro projects.
• Strong knowledge of configuration management, change control, systems engineering, and project governance.
• Experience with CM Plans, Change Registers, and Configuration Baselines.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams across all project phases.
• Proficiency with document and configuration management systems such as Aconex, ProjectWise, ACC, or similar platforms.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead Configuration and Change Management activities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Establish and maintain Configuration Management Plans, Change Management procedures, and configuration baselines.
• Manage engineering and project changes, ensuring evaluation, approval, implementation, and documentation.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to maintain configuration consistency across all project deliverables.
• Manage configuration records, change registers, and status accounting reports with full project traceability.
• Facilitate Change Control Board (CCB) meetings and coordinate change approvals with stakeholders.
• Assess the technical, commercial, schedule, and operational impacts of proposed changes.
• Ensure compliance with client requirements, international railway standards, and Sener quality procedures.
• Support project audits and drive continuous improvement in configuration and change management practices.
• Mentor team members and provide technical leadership throughout project delivery.

We are looking for a Manager – Configuration & Change Management to join our team in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, where you will lead the governance of configuration and change management processes across landmark railway projects.

Role Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 15 years of overall professional experience.
• Minimum 10 years of mandatory Rail & Metro experience.
• Proven experience leading Configuration and Change Management for complex Rail & Metro infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of configuration management, change control, systems engineering, and project governance.
• Experience managing Configuration Management Plans, Change Registers, and Configuration Baselines.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams throughout all project phases.
• Proficiency with document and configuration management systems such as Aconex, ProjectWise, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), or similar platforms.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Saudi Nationals are preferred; expatriate candidates are also encouraged to apply.
• Experience working with international engineering consultancies.
• Familiarity with GCC railway standards and Saudi regulations.
• Professional certifications such as CMII, PMP, or equivalent are an advantage.
• Experience implementing digital engineering and configuration management systems.
