Sener is seeking a Senior Engineer – Highways in Saudi Arabia to contribute to the design and delivery of major railway and transportation infrastructure projects. You will develop highway designs, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and mentor junior engineers to ensure high-quality outputs.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Highway/Transportation Engineering preferred.
• Professional Engineering registration or equivalent certification preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in Highway Engineering Design.
• Minimum 5 years of experience working on Rail Infrastructure Projects.
• Experience in international engineering consultancy environments is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop highway engineering designs and technical deliverables for rail and transportation infrastructure projects.
• Prepare engineering calculations, technical reports, specifications, drawings, and design documentation.
• Support project delivery from concept through detailed design stages.
• Coordinate design activities with multidisciplinary teams across rail, civil, structures, geotechnical, drainage, utilities, environmental, and project management.
• Ensure designs comply with project requirements, client specifications, and applicable standards.
• Participate in design reviews, technical workshops, and value engineering initiatives.
• Identify technical risks and develop practical, cost-effective solutions.
• Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and design partners throughout project execution.
• Support quality assurance and quality control across all project phases.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives.

This role offers the opportunity to work on large-scale rail developments, supporting the integration of highways, access roads, transportation corridors, and intermodal connections that are critical to the success of the Kingdom's transportation network.

Key Job Responsibilities:

• Develop highway engineering designs and technical deliverables for rail and transportation infrastructure projects.
• Prepare engineering calculations, technical reports, specifications, drawings, and design documentation.

Job Requirements:

• Proven experience delivering major transportation and infrastructure projects.
• Experience within international engineering consultancy environments is highly desirable.
