Job summary

SYSTRA is seeking an experienced MMS Expert to lead the MMS enhancement project in Makkah, KSA. The role involves overseeing implementation, integration with ATS, SCADA, BMS, CCTV and signaling, and ensuring alignment with project requirements and standards.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's in Engineering, 10+ years in MMS/EAM/CMMS and 5+ years on railway projects, plus PMC/Employer's Engineer supervision experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, CS, or related); Master's preferred.
• Minimum 10 years progressive experience in Maintenance Management Systems / EAM / CMMS / Railway O&M systems.
• Minimum 5 years direct experience on Railway / Metro / Urban Transit projects involving MMS implementation, upgrade, or revamping.
• Proven track record in PMC / Employer's Engineer supervisory roles on rail/metro projects.
• Hands-on experience with major EAM platforms (IBM Maximo, SAP PM, Infor EAM, IFS, or equivalent).
• Familiarity with railway systems integration (ATS, SCADA, BMS, CCTV, Signaling).
• Experience in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia or GCC on rail/metro projects is highly preferred.
• Strong command of English (written & spoken); Arabic is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Review contractor deliverables, designs, and technical submittals.
• Ensure MMS integration with railway systems such as ATS, SCADA, BMS, CCTV, and Signaling.
• Monitor compliance with project requirements, standards, and KSA regulations.
• Support testing, commissioning, and system acceptance activities.
• Coordinate with stakeholders, operators, and project teams.
• Identify project risks, issues, and recommend corrective actions.
• Verify system performance, reliability, and maintainability objectives.
• Prepare progress reports, technical reviews, and supervision comments.
• Provide technical guidance on EAM/CMMS best practices.

Context

We are seeking an experienced MMS Expert to support the MMS Enhancement Project in Makkah, KSA. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the enhancement, implementation, and integration of the Maintenance Management System (MMS) to ensure alignment with project requirements, operational needs, and industry standards.

• Strong command of English (written & spoken); Arabic is an advantage.
