Sener is seeking a Senior Project Engineer – Stadiums in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. You will drive project engineering across design, construction, and delivery interfaces for FIFA-standard stadiums, oversee schedules and budgets, and coordinate with clients and teams globally.
Ideal candidates have a technical background in civil/structural/architectural engineering with 12–13 years of experience in project controls, risk, and compliance, plus FIFA stadium project exposure.
At Sener, we are delivering complex and high-impact infrastructure projects across the region. We are looking for a Senior Project Engineer – Stadiums to join our Riyadh, Saudi Arabia team, supporting the successful delivery of FIFA-standard stadium projects.
This role is suited to an experienced professional who started their career in structural or architectural design and progressed into project engineering or project management, with strong experience across project controls, cost, schedule, stakeholder coordination, compliance, and project delivery.
Coordinate project engineering activities across design, construction, and delivery interfaces for FIFA-standard stadium projects
Manage project schedules, progress tracking, deliverables, milestones, and reporting
Support cost control, budget monitoring, change management, and commercial coordination
Coordinate project controls, risks, technical issues, dependencies, and corrective actions
Coordinate with design teams, contractors, consultants, clients, and other project stakeholders
Monitor compliance with project requirements, technical standards, contracts, programs, and client requirements
Support project meetings, progress reviews, reporting, decision-making, and resolution of project issues
Provide project engineering leadership across the transition from design through project delivery
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline
12–13 years of overall experience
Mandatory experience on a FIFA-standard stadium project
Started career in structural or architectural design and subsequently progressed into project engineering or project management
Strong experience in project coordination, schedule management, cost control, and project reporting
Experience coordinating design, construction, technical, and project control interfaces
Strong understanding of project controls, risk, change, stakeholder management, and compliance
Proven ability to coordinate complex multidisciplinary project environments
Experience working on major international stadium projects
Experience with international engineering consultancies or contractors
Experience on large-scale sports or major event venues
Experience working in the GCC
Project Management Professional or equivalent certification
