Job summary

Jobgether is seeking an Engineering Manager, Managed Services based in Saudi Arabia to lead a distributed team responsible for operating and continuously improving modern cloud infrastructure.

You will oversee managed services for customer environments built on technologies such as Kubernetes and OpenStack, balancing operational excellence with engineering quality in a highly remote, international setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education in technology or related field.
• Proven software engineering experience with Python/Go/C/C++/Java or similar and/or managing technical operations teams.
• Demonstrated OpenStack experience.
• Strong testing, maintainable code, and software quality practices.
• Experience with Linux administration; Ubuntu/Debian experience is a plus.
• Solid understanding of cloud architectures and distributed systems.
• Experience with agile software development.
• Experience leading distributed or remote teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a growing engineering team, improving development velocity and operational quality.
• Oversee day-to-day delivery of managed services across customer environments.
• Establish disciplined engineering and operations processes for scalability and maintainability.
• Monitor team health indicators and improve team effectiveness and collaboration.
• Maintain focus on priorities, milestones, deliverables, and customer commitments.
• Represent the team with customers, internal stakeholders, product engineering teams, and external partners.
• Ensure SLAs are met across deployments globally.
• Drive improvements to products, processes, and operational practices based on feedback.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and operations to resolve complex issues.
