Job summary

Jobgether lists a role for an Engineering Manager - Linux Hardware Enablement based in Saudi Arabia. You will lead a distributed team at the intersection of Linux software and hardware, collaborating with silicon partners to optimize Ubuntu across the stack, from kernel to desktop.

You’ll coach engineers, influence technical strategy, and coordinate delivery across multiple teams while working in a fast-paced international environment. Travel up to two weeks annually is expected.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership of software engineering teams.
• Experience with Linux hardware enablement and Ubuntu integration.
• Strong communication with partners and customers.
• Experience delivering in an agile software environment.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a technology field.

Responsibilities

• Lead a distributed team delivering Ubuntu integrations for IoT, PC, and server hardware.
• Provide technical leadership across the Linux stack for hardware enablement and performance.
• Build and manage relationships with partners and ensure timely delivery.
• Oversee partner engagements and milestones with quality and reliability.
• Coach and develop engineers through feedback and career development.
• Coordinate architecture, roadmaps, and execution with internal teams.
• Foster a collaborative, high-performing engineering culture.
• Travel internationally up to twice per year for team/events.
