Job summary

Unknown is seeking a Cloud & DevOps engineer to support clients in Saudi Arabia and Jordan, designing, migrating and operating cloud infrastructure on AWS and Azure. You will lead engagements from readiness assessment to run-and-operate handover, collaborating with a team that values reliability and IaC.

The role requires 4+ years in cloud/DevOps, hands-on Terraform, and strong Linux scripting. Experience with Kubernetes and CI/CD tools is a plus, with on-call support as part of duties.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a cloud or DevOps engineering role.
• Production experience with AWS and/or Azure.
• Hands-on Terraform experience in production environments.
• Strong Linux administration and scripting (Bash or Python).

Responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud infrastructure on AWS and Azure.
• Write Terraform modules for reproducible, auditable infrastructure.
• Lead zero-downtime cloud migrations for production workloads.
• Build and optimise CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or ArgoCD.

Join our Cloud & DevOps practice to help enterprise and public-sector clients in Saudi Arabia design, migrate and operate cloud infrastructure on AWS and Azure. You'll lead engagements from readiness assessment through wave-based migration to run-and-operate handover, working with a team that values reliability, automation and clean infrastructure-as-code.

What You'll Do

• Design and implement cloud infrastructure on AWS and Azure
• Write Terraform modules for reproducible, auditable infrastructure
• Lead zero-downtime cloud migrations for production workloads
• Build and optimise CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or ArgoCD
• Provide on-call support and incident response for managed infrastructure clients

What We're Looking For

• Production experience with AWS and/or Azure
• Hands-on Terraform experience in production environments
• Strong understanding of Kubernetes — workloads, networking, autoscaling
• 4+ years in a cloud or DevOps engineering role
• Solid Linux administration and scripting (Bash or Python)

Nice to Have

• Experience with GitOps (ArgoCD or Flux)
• Exposure to FinOps and cloud cost optimisation practices
