Job summary

V3 Middle East Engineering Consultants Co. seeks an experienced Civil/Structural Site Supervision Consultant to oversee day-to-day site activities, ensuring adherence to approved drawings and project specs.

You will manage non-conformances, coordinate with contractors, and support final handover with thorough documentation. Applicants should have 5–7 years in CSC roles, expertise in BIM (Revit), AutoCAD, and field experience with high-end projects, plus fluent English and NEBOSH/IOSH awareness

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in site supervision, finishing works, façade systems, high-end commercial/residential projects, and submittal reviews within engineering consultancy firms.

Job Responsibilities:

• General Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and monitor site activities daily for strict compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, and safety standards, while escalating risks and deviations to the RE/PM/Senior Engineer.
  • Execute inspection duties with high accuracy, verifying that installations and materials match approved submittals and method statements.
  • Provide on-site assistance in coordinating work sequences with contractors and other disciplines to ensure smooth workflow and avoid conflicts.
  • Observe work progress against the schedule, proactively identifying site non-conformances (NCRs) and ensuring corrective actions are implemented.
  • Ensure timely submission of accurate daily/weekly inspection reports and work inspection requests (WIRs), maintaining precise site logs.

• Technical Responsibilities:

  • Conduct daily inspections of civil/structural works (earthworks, piling, concrete, steel structures, roads, utilities) and verify that delivered materials comply with approved submittals.
  • Review and process Work Inspection Requests (WIRs) submitted by the contractor against approved shop drawings and ITPs.
  • Witness on-site material testing and review third-party laboratory results (concrete, soil compaction, rebar, aggregates) in accordance with relevant standards (ASTM, ACI, SBC).
  • Monitor interfaces and sequencing between civil/structural works and other disciplines (MEP, Architectural, Infrastructure) to prevent activity conflicts and rework.
  • Identify non-conforming works on-site, support the issuance of Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), and follow up on the verification of corrective actions until formal closeout.
  • Participate in substantial completion and final handover inspections, preparing punch lists (snag items) and verifying related as-built drawings.

• Additional Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and project teams to resolve technical issues or non-conformances in a timely manner.
  • Stay updated with changes in Civil codes, regulations, and industry best practices and ensure their implementation where applicable.
  • Support multiple projects as required, ensuring inspections are carried out efficiently without compromising quality or safety.
  • Ensure full adherence to V3ME Quality, Safety (HSE), and Environmental (EMP) protocols by using standard forms/checklists, enforcing PPE, reporting hazards, and maintaining audit-ready records (internal and external).

Performs other responsibilities and tasks related to the job as directed by the direct manager.

Required Qualifications:

• Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.

• Professional Certifications Preferred

  • Specialized QA/QC or civil inspection certifications.
  • Valid Iqama and Transferable Iqama (if non-Saudi).
  • NEBOSH / IOSH awareness certification.

• Years of Experience

  • Minimum 5 to 7 years of progressive experience in a Construction Supervision Consultancy (CSC) role on site.

• Nature of Experience

  • Hands-on experience in site supervision, finishing works, facade systems, high-end commercial/residential projects, and submittal reviews within engineering consultancy firms.

• Job Specific Knowledge and Skills

  • Deep technical knowledge of architectural finishes, structural glazing/facades, and building envelope details.
  • Strong proficiency in reviewing shop drawings, local building codes, and international architectural standards (e.g., IBC, NFPA).
  • Hands-on command of BIM (Revit), AutoCAD, and document control software (e.g., Aconex, Procore).
  • Expertise in resolving site technical issues, MEP/structural clashes, and field execution.

• Business Language Skills

  • English language proficiency level is Fluent.
