Job summary

Alrashid Abetong is seeking a Quality Control Engineer to support factory production and site erection of precast concrete elements in Riyadh. You will ensure compliance with approved drawings, monitor curing and stripping, and verify on-site delivery and erection procedures.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, strong knowledge of quality management systems, ability to read drawings, and at least two years of experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems and inspection methods.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Inspect fabricated molds to ensure compliance with approved drawings and required tolerances.
• Monitor casting, curing, and stripping procedures of precast elements at the factory.
• Verify the condition of precast elements upon delivery to site and ensure correct erection procedures are followed.
• Prepare and maintain all required quality control documentation according to standards and project specifications.
• Identify and report deviations, nonconformities, and recommend improvements to enhance processes.
• Issue Nonconformance Reports (NCRs) and manage Requests for Inspection (RFIs), Material Inspection Requests (MIRs), and work handovers.
• Address client quality-related complaints and coordinate resolution of issues.
• Implement the approved Inspection and Test Plan (ITP).
• Act as the company's quality representative, maintaining effective communication with clients, consultants, and site supervisors.
• Ensure quality control procedures are properly applied across both factory production and site installation works.
