Job summary

Alrashid Abetong in Riyadh is seeking a skilled Quality Control Engineer to support factory production and site erection activities for precast concrete projects. You will ensure elements meet approved drawings and quality standards, and manage ITP adherence.

Responsibilities include inspecting molds, monitoring casting and curing, verifying delivered elements, preparing QC documentation, and issuing NCRs, RFIs, and handovers. Fluency in English and a Civil Engineering degree are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems, inspection methods, and nonconformance reporting.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Inspect fabricated molds to ensure compliance with approved drawings and tolerances.
• Monitor casting, curing, and stripping procedures at the factory.
• Verify condition of precast elements on delivery to site and ensure correct erection procedures.
• Prepare and maintain quality control documentation as per standards and project specs.
• Identify and report deviations, nonconformities, and recommend improvements to processes.
• Issue NCRs and manage RFIs, MIRs, and handovers.
• Address client quality-related complaints and coordinate issue resolution.
• Implement the approved Inspection and Test Plan (ITP).
• Act as the company's quality representative, communicating with clients and site supervisors.
• Ensure QC procedures are applied across factory and site works.
