Job summary

Madkour Group is seeking an experienced Civil Construction Manager to lead civil construction activities for energy projects in Saudi Arabia, focusing on HV substations and overhead transmission lines (OHTL). You will ensure execution aligns with designs, schedules, quality standards and HSE requirements.

You will manage site teams, coordinate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors and clients, monitor progress, and drive plans to meet milestones while complying with Saudi regulations

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• 10+ years of civil construction experience, energy/power transmission preferred.
• Proven experience in HV substations and OHTL projects.
• Experience leading site teams, subcontractors and schedules.

Madkour Group is seeking an experienced Civil Construction Manager to lead and oversee civil construction activities across energy projects in Saudi Arabia, with a strong focus on high-voltage substations and overhead transmission lines (OHTL). The role involves ensuring project execution in accordance with approved designs, project schedules, quality standards, and HSE requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage all civil construction activities for HV substation and OHTL projects.
• Oversee site preparation, excavation, foundations, concrete works, structural works, and other civil activities.
• Develop and monitor construction plans, schedules, manpower allocation, and resource requirements.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineering teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure smooth project execution.
• Ensure compliance with approved drawings, technical specifications, project requirements, and applicable Saudi regulations.
• Monitor construction progress, identify potential delays, and implement corrective actions to meet project milestones.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and HSE requirements across all construction activities.
• Review technical documents, method statements, and risk assessments related to civil construction works.
• Manage subcontractors and site teams, ensuring productivity and efficient resource utilization.
• Prepare progress reports and provide regular updates on construction activities, challenges, and performance.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in civil construction, preferably within the energy and power transmission sector.
• Proven experience managing civil construction activities for HV substations and OHTL projects.
• Strong knowledge of substation foundations, concrete structures, equipment foundations, and transmission tower foundations.
• Experience managing site teams, subcontractors, construction schedules, and project resources.
• Good knowledge of construction standards, quality requirements, and HSE regulations.
• Strong leadership, coordination, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Previous experience in KSA is a must.
