Job summary

L&T Hydrocarbon Engineering is seeking an Experienced Site Engineer - Civil Execution for SEC substation projects in Saudi Arabia. You will supervise civil construction activities, ensure compliance with SEC standards, quality, safety, and project schedules.

Candidate should have 8–12 years of experience in substation civil construction, strong drawing-reading skills, and the ability to coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, and client representatives.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of experience in substation civil construction.
• Mandatory SEC project experience and knowledge of GIS substations.
• Ability to read construction drawings and coordinate site activities.

Responsibilities

• Execute and supervise civil works for 380kV substation projects.
• Manage foundations, cable trenches, control buildings, boundaries, roads and drainage.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants and client representatives.
• Ensure compliance with SEC standards, QA/QC, and HSE requirements.
• Monitor site progress and prepare daily/weekly reports.
• Support inspections and RFIs.

Job Summary

Experienced Site Engineer - Civil Execution with proven experience in Saudi Electricity Company SEC Substation Projects Responsible for supervising and executing civil construction activities for GIS substations ensuring compliance with project specifications SEC standards quality requirements safety regulations and project schedules

Key Responsibilities

• Execute and supervise civil works for 380kV substation projects


• Manage construction activities including foundations cable trenches control buildings boundary walls roads and drainage works


• Coordinate with subcontractors consultants and client representatives


• Ensure compliance with SEC standards approved drawings QA QC requirements and HSE regulations


• Monitor site progress and prepare daily weekly reports


• Support inspections and RFIs

8-12 years of experience in substation civil construction projects. Mandatory experience on Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) projects . Strong knowledge of GIS substations, civil execution, and SEC standards. Ability to read construction drawings and coordinate site activities effectively. Good communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Experience in EPC Substation Projects within Saudi Arabia.


• Exposure to SEC, National Grid SA, or major utility projects.


• Strong track record in delivering substation civil works safely, within budget, and on schedule.


• Immediate availability with SEC approval or transferable iqama will be an added advantage
