Job summary

Pinnacle Solutions, an Akima company, is seeking an Engine Technician to perform maintenance on CH-47 aircraft engines on-site in Saudi Arabia. The role involves following manuals, diagnosing and repairing engine systems, and ensuring readiness rates in coordination with the Maintenance Lead and Logistics.

OJT and mentoring are included. Requirements include eight years of aircraft engine experience (two in the last five), Engine Technician training or equivalent, and a U.S.

Qualifications

• Eight years of aircraft engine mechanic experience, with two of the last five years.
• Engine Technician course or civilian equivalent training.
• Proficient with computer-hosted interactive technical manuals and aviation maintenance systems.
• Professional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to communicate with the customer professionally.
• Valid state or government driver's license.
• Pass an overseas deployment physical upon hire.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• High school diploma or GED

Responsibilities

• Performs unit level aircraft engine maintenance and on engine system components.
• Maintains CH-47 engine using Operators Manual, Maintenance Test Flight Manual, Check List Manual and directives.
• Diagnoses and repairs engine systems and components per manuals and safety procedures.
• Uses measuring tools and alignment fixtures as required.
• Performs engine operational checks and uses test sets and diagnostic equipment.
• Provides OJT, coaching and mentoring to personnel.
• Ensures maintenance activities meet program readiness targets and procedures.
• Coordinates with Maintenance Lead and Logistics for parts and spares.
• Records data and maintains maintenance forms and reports.
