Job summary

Pinnacle Solutions, an Akima company, is seeking a Powertrain Technician to perform maintenance on CH-47 aircraft in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on powertrain and rotor systems, with hands-on disassembly, repair, and reassembly. Ideal candidates have 8 years’ powertrain experience, U.S.

military or equivalent training, and ability to work on site under safety standards; U.S. citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• Eight (8) years of experience as an aircraft powertrain mechanic.
• Completed and qualified in the U.S. Government armed forces Powertrain course or civilian equivalent.
• Proficient in using computer-hosted interactive technical manuals and aviation maintenance systems.
• Professional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to communicate with customers in a professional and courteous manner.
• Possess a valid state or Government-issued driver’s license.
• Successfully pass an overseas deployment physical on hire.
• HS diploma or equivalent.
• U.S. citizen.

Responsibilities

• Performs unit-level maintenance on powertrain and rotor systems.
• Removes and replaces powertrain components and related assemblies.
• Disassembles, repairs, and reassembles powertrain parts.
• Assists in ensuring readiness and compliance with directives.
• Maintains safety and quality control throughout maintenance tasks.
• Enters data and updates maintenance records.
