Job summary

Matar Holding Company is seeking a reliable Cashier to manage cash transactions accurately and efficiently at our facility in Saudi Arabia. You will handle customer payments, issue receipts, and maintain daily cash records while ensuring compliance with company policies.

You will reconcile cash balances, prepare daily reports for the Finance Department, and provide excellent customer service. Strong attention to detail and experience with POS systems are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum 23 years of cashier experience, preferably in retail, manufacturing, or a commercial organization
• Experience with POS systems and cash handling
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles

Responsibilities

• Receive cash, credit/debit card, and other payment methods from customers
• Issue receipts, invoices, and payment confirmations
• Maintain accurate records of all cash transactions
• Reconcile cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift
• Deposit cash collections as per company procedures
• Prepare daily cash reports and submit them to the Finance Department
• Handle refunds, exchanges, and payment discrepancies in accordance with company policies
• Ensure the cash counter is organized and secure at all times
• Assist customers with payment-related queries in a professional manner
• Coordinate with the Finance and Accounts team regarding daily collections
• Maintain confidentiality of financial information
• Comply with company policies, procedures, and internal controls
