Job summary

SWISSOTEL Medina seeks a meticulous General Cashier to manage daily remittances, floats, and cash reconciliation. You will prepare reports, balance funds, and ensure proper deposits and change for all cashiers in a fast-paced hotel environment.

The role requires 1 year of related experience, English proficiency, and SOCPA membership, with strong Excel and MS Office skills to support accounting systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Diploma in Accounting or Finance.
• SOCPA membership is required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar capacity.
• Strong reading, writing and spoken English.
• Proficient in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Collect and check daily remittances with a witness.
• Ensure sufficient change for all cashiers.
• Update foreign exchange rates and make bank deposits as needed.
• Prepare General Cashier Daily Report.
• Reimburse Front Office cashiers for disbursements.
• Make petty cash payments on designated days.
• Balance cash fund daily.
• Conduct surprise float counts for all cashiers.
• Maintain over/short records and report to Financial Controller.
• Update cashiers Float records monthly.
• Maintain casual labor dockets and movement records.
• Perform any other assigned duties.
