Job summary

Confidentiel is seeking a Treasury Accountant to support daily treasury operations, maintain accurate bank records, and ensure funds meet operational commitments. You will process payments, reconcile accounts, monitor cash movements, and contribute to cash flow reporting in line with internal policies and controls.

Key responsibilities include monitoring daily cash, processing supplier payments, bank reconciliations, and assisting with short-term cash flow forecasts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• Two+ years in treasury, banking operations, or accounting with cash management exposure.
• Understanding of payment processing, treasury accounting, bank reconciliations, and cash flow reporting.
• Proficiency in Excel and ERP/accounting software.
• Familiarity with bank guarantees and letters of credit is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Daily Cash Position: Monitor bank balances and cash movements, prepare daily cash position reports.
• Payment Processing: Prepare and process approved supplier payments, bank transfers, and other disbursements.
• Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile bank accounts, investigate discrepancies, resolve outstanding items.
• Cash Flow Support: Assist in short-term cash flow forecasts by tracking receipts and payments.
• Treasury Accounting: Record bank transactions, charges, transfers in the accounting system.
• Bank Coordination: Liaise with banks on routine transactions and service requests.
• Banking Facilities Support: Assist with documentation for bank guarantees and LC where applicable.
• Period-End Closing: Prepare treasury schedules and reconciliations for monthly close and audits.
• Controls and Documentation: Maintain treasury records and follow payment approvals and confidentiality.
