Job summary

Flyper is seeking an experienced Carpenter to join its Riyadh team to fabricate, install and repair wooden structures and fixtures. The successful candidate will measure, cut, assemble, and fit components, read blueprints, and ensure workmanship meets quality and safety standards.

This role involves working on interior woodwork projects, using hand and power tools, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace.

Qualifications

• Proven work experience as a Carpenter.
• Knowledge of the properties of wood and other materials used in carpentry.
• Ability to work with precision tools such as planes and chisels.
• Experience in reading blueprints and drawings.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time while performing physical work.

Responsibilities

• Measure and mark cutting lines on materials, using a ruler, pencil, chalk, and marking gauge.
• Cut or saw boards, timbers, or sheet materials to required size using hand tools (saws) or power tools (table saws).
• Assemble cut and shaped parts of woodworking projects with glue, dowels or nails.
• Fit doors, windows and other fixtures into prepared openings.
• Finish products by sanding surfaces and apply stain or paint to them.
• Repair furniture as required.
• Follow all safety rules when operating machinery or working with hazardous materials.
