Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining relationships with Qatar Airways Cargo’s larger SME freight forwarders in the assigned territory.
• Preparing an account development plan to achieve short-, medium-, and long-term mutual benefits.
• Contributing to the formulation and implementation of QR Cargo sales strategy to maximize revenue and minimize cost of sale.
• Ensuring focus and activities prioritize high yield sales and profitability maximization.
• Developing the biggest SMEs into local accounts, whilst targeting smaller SMEs with growth potential.
• Reviewing QR Cargo sales data with account portfolio to drive revenue and identify opportunities.
• Managing and coordinating projects and initiatives on behalf of the area of responsibility.
• Developing tactical sales activity in support of sales opportunities.
• Maintaining sales professionalism standards.
• Providing regular market intelligence and feedback from customers and competitors.
• Representing QR Cargo at trade events, promotions and sales functions.

About the Role

We are pleased to announce an exciting opportunity to join our Cargo Sales team in Riyadh, KSA as Cargo Account Executive.

In this role, you will be managing relationships with Qatar Airways Cargo’s larger SME freight forwarder accounts. Developing a successful, consistent approach to dealing with the larger SME accounts, which drives maximum revenue and minimum cost of sale. These accounts will mainly be managed by phone and mail It also includes gaining maximum value for the airline from developing the biggest SMEs into local accounts.

Accountabilities

• Developing and maintaining relationships with Qatar Airways Cargo’s’ larger SME freight forwarders.in the assigned territory.
• Preparing an account development plan to achieve short-, medium-, and long-term mutual benefits.
• Contributing to the formulation and implementation of QR Cargo sales strategy to maximize short- and long- term revenue opportunities, reduce cost of sale and generate divarication where needed.
• Ensuring focus and activities prioritize high yield sales and profitability maximization.
• Developing the biggest SMEs into local accounts, whilst targeting smaller SMEs with opportunity to grow.
• Reviewing QR Cargo sales data with account portfolio to drive revenue and seek out tactical revenue opportunities.
• Managing and coordinating projects and initiatives on behalf of area of responsibility.
• Developing tactical sales activity in support of sales opportunities.
• Maintaining sales professionalism standards.

Qualification

To Be Successful In This Role You Will Need

• Bachelors degree or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of job related experience in cargo airline sales.
• Experience in negotiating.
• Excellent command of English language.
