Job summary

Qatar Airways is seeking a Senior Cargo Account Executive in Jeddah to manage relationships with freight forwarder accounts and drive revenue while minimizing cost of sale. This role emphasizes developing strategic account plans and delivering value in both local and multinational contexts.

Success requires 3+ years in cargo airline sales, strong negotiation and influencing skills, and fluency in English. Saudi nationals are preferred for this position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 3 years of job-related experience.
• Experience in Cargo airline sales.
• Experience in negotiating.
• Good understanding of Cargo Systems.
• Influencing skills to deal with internal and external customers.
• Good command of English language.
• Only Saudi nationals can be considered for this role.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain long-term strategic relationships with QR Cargo’s top freight forwarders and shippers.
• Prepare an account development plan to achieve short-, medium-, and long-term mutual benefits.
• Contribute to the formulation and implementation of QR Cargo sales strategy to maximize revenue opportunities and reduce cost of sale.
• Ensure focus on high-yield sales and profitability.
• Review QR Cargo sales data with the account portfolio to drive revenue and identify opportunities.
• Manage and coordinate projects and initiatives for the area of responsibility.
• Develop tactical sales activity in support of sales opportunities.
• Maintain sales professionalism standards.
• Provide regular market intelligence and feedback from customers and competitors.
• Represent QR Cargo at trade events, promotions and sales functions.
• Perform other department duties as directed by the Head of the Department
