Crown Holdings, Inc. is seeking an experienced maintenance mechanic to preserve and optimize can decoration equipment to ensure efficient production and high-quality printed cans. Responsible for the maintenance repair and optimal performance of can decoration equipment to ensure efficient production and high-quality printed cans Perform preventative maintenance on can decoration machinery including presses coatters and ovens Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical electrical and pneumatic issues affecting can decorators Execute repairs and replacements of faulty components such as gears bearings cylinders and electrical controls Conduct equipment changeovers and adjustments for different can sizes and print designs Monitor equipment during operation to identify potential problems and ensure adherence to production specifications Collaborate with production operators to optimize machine performance and minimize downtime Document maintenance activities repairs and parts usage accurately Adhere to all safety procedures and company policies during maintenance and repair operations Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to equipment reliability and efficiency High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or technical degree in mechanics, electrical, or a related field is highly preferred. Proven experience as a mechanic, preferably within a manufacturing environment, with specific experience in decorating or printing equipment being a significant advantage. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints. Familiarity with pneumatic and hydraulic systems. Basic understanding of electrical systems and controls. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good communication skills. Physical ability to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and work in a manufacturing environment.
