Job summary

Crown Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for decorator equipment in a can manufacturing facility. You will handle installation, maintenance and repair of decorators, ink systems, coating units and drying ovens to ensure optimal production and product quality.

You will diagnose mechanical, electrical and pneumatic issues, perform timely repairs, calibrate settings and maintain meticulous records. Shift work, safety compliance, and collaboration with production teams are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training preferred.
• 3–5 years experience maintaining industrial decorating machinery or similar equipment.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read manuals, schematics and blueprints.
• Willingness to work shifts, including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on decorators, ink systems, coating units and drying ovens.

Job Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance is highly preferred.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a maintenance mechanic, specifically with industrial printing or decorating machinery, preferably within a can manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex machinery issues and perform effective repairs.
• Experience with precision alignment and calibration of industrial equipment.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in an industrial setting.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work shifts, including nights and weekends, as required.
