Job summary

Crown Holdings, Inc. is seeking an experienced maintenance mechanic to preserve and optimize can decoration equipment to ensure efficient production and high-quality printed cans. You will perform preventive maintenance on presses, coaters and ovens, diagnose mechanical, electrical and pneumatic issues, and execute repairs.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a mechanic in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Familiarity with pneumatic and hydraulic systems
• Basic understanding of electrical systems and controls
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair can decoration equipment to ensure optimal performance
• Perform preventative maintenance on presses, coatters and ovens
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and pneumatic issues
• Execute repairs and replacements of faulty components
• Conduct equipment changeovers for different can sizes and print designs
• Monitor equipment to minimize downtime and ensure production specifications
• Document maintenance activities, repairs, and parts usage accurately
• Adhere to safety procedures and company policies during operations
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for equipment reliability
