Job summary

Crown Holdings, Inc. in Jeddah is seeking a Decorator Operator to run and maintain high-speed can decorating equipment, ensuring consistent color, print quality, and adherence to production schedules.

You will perform setup changes, monitor output, conduct in-process quality checks, and document downtime and waste while maintaining a safe, clean work area, wearing PPE, and coordinating with maintenance teams to minimize downtime across rotating shifts, including nights and weekends where

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience operating machinery in manufacturing, preferably printing or can manufacturing.
• Mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting.
• Strong attention to detail and color/print quality.
• Ability to read production specifications and job orders.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and machine interface.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.
• Commitment to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor high-speed can decorating equipment including feeders coaters and ovens ensuring optimal performance and product quality.
• Perform routine setup adjustments and changeovers of machinery according to production specifications and job orders.
• Conduct in-process quality checks including color matching print registration and defect identification and make necessary adjustments to maintain standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve minor mechanical and operational issues with decorating equipment to minimize downtime.
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks on decorating machinery as scheduled or required.
• Load and unload raw materials ink coatings cans and finished products from the decorator.
• Maintain accurate production records including downtime waste and output data.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures including the use of personal protective equipment PPE.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors maintenance personnel and other team members regarding production issues or quality concerns.

• Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform duties in a manufacturing setting (which may include exposure to noise, heat, and chemicals).
