Job summary
A healthcare organization in Saudi Arabia is seeking a Dental Director to lead and oversee clinical and administrative operations of the Dental Department. This role involves supervising dental staff, developing clinical policies, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. The ideal candidate should have a degree in Dental Surgery and a valid professional license. This position offers the opportunity to enhance patient care and improve clinical performance within a dynamic healthcare environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Dental Surgery (DDS / BDS) required.
- Postgraduate qualification or specialty certification preferred.
- Valid professional classification and license (SCFHS) required.
Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee all clinical and administrative operations of the Dental Department.
- Supervise dentists and dental assistants.
- Develop and monitor clinical policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and patient safety.
The Dental Director is responsible for leading and overseeing all clinical and administrative operations of the Dental Department, ensuring high-quality patient care, compliance with regulatory standards, and continuous improvement of clinical performance.
- Provide clinical and administrative leadership for the dental department.
- Supervise dentists, dental assistants, and supporting clinical staff.
- Develop, implement, and monitor clinical policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, quality standards, and patient safety requirements.
- Review and oversee treatment plans, especially complex cases.
- Monitor clinical performance indicators and improve service quality.
- Participate in recruitment, evaluation, and professional development of dental staff.
- Coordinate with senior management to achieve organizational goals.
- Ensure compliance with accreditation requirements (e.g., CBAHI or equivalent).
- Bachelor’s degree in Dental Surgery (DDS / BDS).
