Job summary

Crown Holdings, Inc. seeks a skilled maintenance technician to uphold the performance of can decoration equipment in a high-volume plant in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia.

You will perform preventive maintenance on presses, coaters, and ovens; diagnose mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues; and execute repairs with safety and quality in mind. Collaborate with production operators to optimize machine uptime, document activities, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Vocational training or technical degree in mechanics, electrical, or a related field is highly preferred.
• Proven experience as a mechanic in manufacturing, with decorating/printing equipment as a plus.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and interpret manuals, schematics, and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on can decoration machinery, including presses, coaters, and ovens.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues affecting can decorators.
• Execute repairs and replacements of faulty components, such as gears, bearings, cylinders, and electrical controls.
• Conduct equipment changeovers and adjustments for different can sizes and print designs.
• Monitor equipment during operation to identify potential problems and ensure adherence to production specifications.
• Collaborate with production operators to optimize machine performance and minimize downtime.
• Document maintenance activities, repairs, and parts usage accurately.
• Adhere to all safety procedures and company policies during maintenance and repair operations.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to equipment reliability and efficiency.
